Two paintings that have been missing since a few days before Christmas, were returned Thursday.
Wendy Liu, of Blue Bell, says the artwork went missing from inside the Wissahickon Valley Public library.
She says she was in the process of changing the exhibit and left the paintings by the front door while she walked some other art outside to her car.
When she walked back inside, they were gone. They were painted by Liu's mother, who is now 82 and doesn't paint anymore.
The library posted fliers by the front desk and offered a reward for the art's return.
The person who returned the paintings said they thought they were free.
