Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to lure a young boy with candy in Warminster Township.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to lure a young boy in Warminster Township.

On Saturday around 4:55 p.m. police arrived on the 700 block of Meadow Drive for a report of an attempted child luring. A young boy told police he was standing in his yard earlier that day between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. when he saw a van drive down the roadway. The driver of the vehicle allegedly asked the boy if he wanted candy before driving off.

The boy described the vehicle as a gold van with heavily tinted windows. The suspect is described as an 18 to 19-year-old thin white male with curly brown hair. The boy also described the passenger of the van as an 18 to 19-year-old medium-built white male with brown hair.
