Firefighters rushed to an area hospital this morning after cars caught fire in a parking garage.

The blaze began around 6 a.m. in one car parked in the Abington Memorial Hospital York Road Garage at Old York Road and Horace Avenue in Abington, Pa.

According to Montgomery County dispatchers, the fire spread to two adjacent cars causing further damage.

As SkyForce10 hovered overhead, firefighters could be seen dragging hoses into the garage. It wasn't clear how long it took to bring the fire under control.

There were no reports of injuries to any hospital patients, personnel or emergency responders.

The full extent of the damage wasn't immediately known. An investigation is underway as to what caused the blaze to break out.
