Parx Casino Thief Turns Himself In: Cops

The man who police say swiped tens of thousands of dollars in chips from a Bucks County casino is now in custody.

The man was playing a table game at Parx Casino around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon when he grabbed $55,000 in chips and ran out the door, Parx Director of Public Relations Carrie Nork Minelli says.

Nork Minelli says the entire theft was captured by surveillance cameras. The casino turned the surveillance video over to the Pennsylvania State Police who began to investigate.

Officials say the man went back to the casino around 7:30 p.m. and returned the chips. He was then arrested by State Police.

Investigators have not yet revealed the man's identity or the specific charges against him.
