4 Kids, Woman Hurt in Atlantic Co Accident

Five people, including four children, were injured in a late-night accident in Atlantic County.

Police are investigating an accident that injured four children and an adult in Atlantic County late Wednesday night. 

Investigators tell NBC10 that 39-year-old Ammie Young was driving south on Route 50 in Estell Manor when she lost control of the car and smashed into a utility pole and a tree.

Young and three of the children in her car were rushed to Atlantic Regional Medical Center.

A fourth child was flown to Cooper University Hospital.

No word on the conditions of the injured.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
