Police are searching for the shooter that killed a man during a bar fight in Grays Ferry.

Philadelphia police are looking for the shooter that killed a man in the Grays Ferry section of the city late Monday night.

Police say the shooting began as a fight inside Big Fella's Sports Bar on 33rd and Reed Streets. They say the fight spilled out onto the street and that's when 36-year-old Matthew Smith was shot.

He was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania a short time later.

The shooter fled on foot, last seen running north on 33rd, according to investigators.

One witness, a Big Fella's bartender, is talking to police.

They are also reviewing surveillance video of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Philadelphia Police.
