2 Men in Van Ask Boys About Missing Dog: Police

Police say that two men, riding in a white van, attempted to lure two 11-year-old boys in a Bucks County neighborhood.

The boys were playing outside around 8:00 last night in the area of Pine Court and Campus Drive in East Rockhill Township. They told police that two men in the van asked them if they had seen their missing dog.

But when the driver opened the driver's side door, the 11 year olds ran away and headed back home to alert their parents of what happened.

"It's a sick and twisted world we live in and you have to watch your children, like no matter how old they are," said Kelly Markley, who lives in the neighborhood.

Pennridge High School & Middle Schools are directly across the street from where the incident happened. The school is now on alert, as well as neighbors in the area.

"We just need to be more vigilant ourselves as neighbors, even if they're not our children," said Michelle Kernaghan.

Police say the van had tinted windows and a possible dent on the right side.
