Two men are fine after being rescued by firefighters after their 25-foot recreation boat ran aground on the Delaware River.
Officials say the men from Exton, Pa., called for help Friday night after the boat ran aground at the entrance to the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal.
High winds and pounding waves complicated the rescue efforts. Though strong waves kept slamming the boat against the rocks, the men ultimately made it onto a rescue boat.
The men were evaluated for minor injuries but did not want to go to a hospital.
State officials are investigating.
