One man is dead after an accident in Gloucester County.
It happened at Route 45 on Monroeville Road in South Harrison Township. Investigators say a tractor trailer carrying roof trusses was traveling north on Route 45 when it struck a pickup truck broadside at the Monroeville Road intersection.
The crash ignited a fire in the cab of the tractor trailer, killing the driver. The driver of the pickup truck was injured and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The names of the drivers are being withheld pending notification of their families.
Route 45 was closed between Tomlin Station Road and Harrisonville Road. It has since reopened.
