For anyone who's tried to get their spouse to see things from their point of view, there's hope.
Swedish researchers used a body swapping illusion to literally get people to "see" themselves.
The technique employs goggles with a camera. That's what the therapist wears while looking at the patient. The patient wears goggles that display what the therapist is seeing... and voila, you see yourself.
Researchers say it may also be effective for self-centered teenagers who can't see any other point of view.
