It’s Girl Scout cookie season and don’t worry—that peanut butter scare won’t put a damper on those Peanut Butter Patties and Peanut Butter Sandwiches you love so dearly.

Girl Scout Cookies are safe to eat, said the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.

According to a press release, neither licensed baker of the cookies get their peanut butter from the supplier involved in the current peanut butter warning.

And that’s great news since cookie sales kick-off Thursday and run through the end of February!

A portion of each sale goes to Girl Scout programs and activities. Each box costs $3.50.
