A local family-run meat producer has only been in business for a little more than two years, but thanks to its new USDA-certified plant, it's ready to take on the rest of the country, having recently received interest from New York retailers.
Lansdowne, Pa.-based 1732 Meats participated last weekend in its first trade show, the Good Food Mercantile, in New York.
Retailers from around the country showed interest in 1732 Meats' products during the event, readying the company for nationwide expansion.
