Pantless Woman Found Cut, Bloody in Olney Park

Woman found assaulted, disoriented in city park

A woman was found badly beaten and disoriented in a wooded Olney park Monday night.

The disoriented 22-year-old had no pants on and was badly beaten on the face and head when she was found at Fisher Park near N 7th Street and Nedro Avenue a little after 8, according to Philadelphia Police.

Neighbors say a little boy walking to the store also heard the woman screaming and alerted two men sitting in a car nearby. The men then jumped out of the car and went into the woods to help.

Around the same time, police arrived and found the badly beaten woman with lacerations on her head, arms and body, cops said.

The woman, who is from Doylestown, Pa. but lived with a man nearby the park, was taken to the hospital where she underwent overnight surgery.

She suffered a broken skull and face and was suffering from swelling to the brain, police said.

Cops are still investigating the attack they say there were no overt signs of a sexual assault but were testing to see if a rape happened.

Investigators questioned the man the victim lived with and others in the area but have no suspects at this time.
