Power has been restored for nearly 2,000 customers in West Philly.

A power outage happened Sunday at 6:50 p.m. and affected customers in West Philadelphia near West Girard and Belmont Avenue, according to PECO. PECO officials say they found a downed wire at the location which caused multiple pieces of equipment to fail.

Shortly after 7 p.m., PECO reported that 1993 customers were without power. They now say power has been restored to all of the customers. They have not yet determined the cause of the outage.
