Fancy slipping into a pair of Hobbit feet and recreating your own quest to find the "one ring to rule them all"?

Fans of director Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy (which is based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkein) can do just that - provided they have the cash to put down at an upcoming auction of memorabilia from the Middle Earth-set movies.

Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills announced Monday that The Trilogy Collection: Props & Costumes from Middle Earth, will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013.

Assembled over the past decade by a single passionate collector, it is second only to director Jackson’s official archive in scope according to a statement from Julien's. Up for grabs are props, costumes and an array of prosthetics, miniatures and pre-production items originally used to bring the film franchise to life on the big screen.

The three films that comprise the trilogy: 2001's  "The Fellowship of the Ring," 2002's "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King" released in 2003 have to date grossed more than $1 billion domestically at the box office.

Jackson returned to the  Tolkein's universe in 2012 with the prequel "The Hobbit," the first installment of which ("The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey") has so far grossed more than $1 billion worldwide in box office receipts. The second installment, "The Desolation of Smaug," is set to be released in U.S. theaters on Dec. 13. Check out a trailer below.

Highlights of The Trilogy Collection auction include Frodo Baggins’ sword “Sting” (with an estimate of $100,000-$200,000), Aragorn’s sword ($50,000-$70,000),  Gandalf the White’s staff ($50,000-$70,000), and Samwise Gamgee’s prosthetic Hobbit feet ($15,000-$30,000) and prosthetic Hobbit ears ($5,000-$8,000).

In advance of the auction a large number of the items up for sale will be displayed at Newbridge Silverware’s Museum of Style Icons in Ireland before returning to the United States to go on display at Julien's Gallery from Monday, Dec. 2.
