The Flyers unveiled their newest jersey Friday, introducing the 2019 Stadium Series sweater the team will rock Feb. 23 at Lincoln Financial Field against the Penguins.
These threads have little to no white, giving them a darker, different look (see story).

While the initial feedback didn't seem great from fans, it feels like people are starting to warm up to the jerseys.
The debate also got us thinking back to the Flyers' past jerseys, specifically their alternate uniforms.

So, without further ado, here's our super official ranking of all the Flyers' third jerseys:
1. The original
This is an exception. The jersey wasn't an alternate but one of the originals. It has to be No. 1 because it was the basis for all the franchise's sweaters that have followed, as the Flyers haven't gotten too far away from it, which is cool. After all, those were franchise-shaping years.

2. Winter Classic
These threads were unique because the 2012 Winter Classic was so unique. The event, overall, was memorable, so it made the jersey special for fans.
Whenever you see it, you think of Jan. 2 at Citizens Bank Park.
The Flyers ended up rolling with these as alternates until the end of the 2015-16 season.

3. Fresh black
The black jersey was so awesome when it was introduced in 1997. It just had a cool, new, intense kind of look that still resonates with fans. The black eventually became a regular sweater for the Flyers.

4. Orange is back
The orange returned as an alternate with a distinct look in 2002. The jersey almost looks red here probably because of the lighting with the picture.
But these were sweet with a modern look. Obviously, orange is now the Flyers' main color worn at home.

5. A blackout
The Flyers still don these jerseys as alternates after introducing them as their 2017 Stadium Series sweater. The black numbers and last names bring out the black even more, a nifty look with orange and white standing as the complementary colors.

6. Golden meaning
This jersey wasn't as popular simply because it was worn for only one season - 2016-17. But the gold was a neat addition for a meaningful year in the franchise, celebrating its 50th anniversary.
