The Eagles - at least a few of them - were planning on heading down to Washington DC today before the White House disinvited them on Monday night.
This morning, the Eagles went to work, participating in a light OTA practice.
Early in the afternoon, the press secretary released the following statement, explaining their side of the canceled visit to the White House.
White House doubling down vs Eagles
WH said Eagles told them 81 would be coming. Eagles called back to say very few people would be coming. Eagles attempted to reschedule date. White House canceled.
