Papa John's is out as the Official Pizza of the NFL after a tumultuous year for the company and Carson Wentz is here for their replacement, Pizza Hut.
He tweeted his support, as potentially as a sneaky sponsorship, early on Wednesday.
There's a new NFL pizza partner? I can get down with some @PizzaHut!β Carson Wentz (@cj_wentz) February 28, 2018
Some other quarterbacks also chimed in as well.
I see you @PizzaHut.β Matt Ryan (@M_Ryan02) February 28, 2018

Like anything on social media, especially surrounding pizza, a debate broke out.
You should never even think about eating Pizza Hut if you live near philly.β Nick Conti (@NickConti96) February 28, 2018
All pizza > Papa John'sβ KingInTheSouth-Korea (@TeamVG4) February 28, 2018
Oh Carson no. Not Pizza Hut. It's not pizza.β Steven Martin (@MartinScjn5666) February 28, 2018
Everyone realizes that @pizzahut is the farthest possible thing from good pizza, their dough is frozen in preformed sizes along with everything else that they use on their pizzas. At least everyone else uses Semi-Fresh dough and has to form it by hand into the pizza.β Shawn Janneck (@PrinceofDeath86) February 28, 2018
Carson, 25% of their cheese is unidentified. Just be careful when eating it that your stomach doesn't get upset. Just looking out for my bestie.β jaime leigh (@NotoriousJME_) February 28, 2018
So, that raises the question, where is the best place in Philadelphia to grab a slice? Post a comment on our Tweet or Facebook post.
We'll hang up and listen.
