The Phillies have set their opening day roster. Here is the 28-man unit:

Starting pitchers (5): Aaron Nola, Zack Wheeler, Zach Eflin, Ranger Suarez (L), Kyle Gibson

Relief pitchers (10): Jose Alvarado (L), Bailey Falter (L), Brad Hand (L), Damon Jones (L), Cristopher Sanchez (L), Connor Brogdon, Seranthony Dominguez, Jeurys Familia, Corey Knebel, Nick Nelson

Catchers (2): J.T. Realmuto, Garrett Stubbs

Infielders (6): Rhys Hoskins, Jean Segura, Didi Gregorius, Alec Bohm, Johan Camargo, Bryson Stott

Outfielders (5): Nick Castellanos, Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Mickey Moniak, Matt Vierling

To make room for the rookie Stott on the 40-man roster, the team placed catcher Rafael Marchan on the 60-day injured list.

Reliever James Norwood, acquired from San Diego late in spring training, was placed on the bereavement list.

Outfielder Odubel Herrera is on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain.

Teams are allowed to carry 28 players through May 1. After that, they must cut down to 26.

The Phils open the season Friday afternoon at home against Oakland. The game is at 3:05 p.m. on NBC10.
