Anyone planning on spending this Sunday at the ballpark should make other plans.

That's because Mother Nature's wrath has forced the Phillies to move Sunday’s game against the Marlins to Saturday to be played as part of a day/night doubleheader.

From the Phillies:

All tickets for the August 28 game will be honored for entry into the August 27 day game, which begins at 1:05 p.m.  The ShopRite Back-to-School Cliff Lee Gym Bag giveaway for fans 14 and under will also take place at the afternoon game.  All gates, including Ashburn Alley, will open at 11:05 a.m. for the 1:05 p.m. game.

The regularly scheduled game on August 27 will still begin at 7:05 p.m.  Fans holding tickets for August 27 should attend the 7:05 p.m. game.  All gates, including Ashburn Alley, will open at 6:05 p.m. for the second game.

Despite the change fans can at least look forward to some good starting pitching -- which should also help the Phils bullpen -- as Roy Halladay takes the hill in the day game and Lee goes at night.
