Elated Phillies Fans React to the Return of Charlie Manuel to the Phillies Bench

It's safe to say Charlie Manuel is beloved by the city of Philadelphia. Whether he's a good hitting coach or not remains to be seen.

The Phillies announced on Tuesday that Manuel will replace John Mallee as the team's hitting coach. Mallee was relieved of his duties. Manuel had been serving as a senior advisor to the GM of the Phillies. In addition to managing the Phils to their most recent world championship in 2008, Manuel served as hitting coach of the Cleveland Indians from 1988-89 and 1994-99.

That's a while ago. None the less, Phillies fans are stoked about Uncle Cholly's return. Exclamation points were popular.
