Mack Hollins Embarks on 1,357-mile … Bike Journey

Like Connor Barwin before, Eagles rookie wide receiver Mack Hollins is known to have adopted the Philly lifestyle.

While Barwin's was famous for riding SEPTA (and also biking), Hollins enjoys a bike ride.

Hollins routinely rides his bike to work every day - just like 2.2 percent (or 14,379 people) of Philadelphians, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's latest data from 2016. The 2017 numbers haven't been released yet.

But this time, it was different. This time, Hollins set out a 1,357-mile journey. To Minneapolis.

All jokes aside, the Eagles left South Philly on Sunday afternoon for Minneapolis as they embark on Super Bowl week. Next Sunday, the Birds will be kicking off against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium.

And considering motorcycles are "not too fond of" in the NFL - and are Hollins' preferred means of transportation (he doesn't own a car) - you can bet Hollins was on the flight to Minnesota.

Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski first captured Hollins biking his way to the Linc for the Eagles' Monday Night Football game on Oct. 23 against the Washington football team.

As Super Bowl Week begins with all the festivities in Minneapolis, NBC Sports Philadelphia will be providing coverage throughout the week on social media, our website and our channel. Follow along.
