Christine O'Donnell commented on Saturday's Tucson tragedy.
The Tea Party Republican sent a tweet on Monday on the tone of politics and the Arizona shooting that killed six and wounded 14 others.
O'Donnell tweets:
The AZ shooting is a nonpartisan tragedy. Let's unite in prayer fo all impacted - rise above political bickering for such a time as this.
It's the first twitter message from O'Donnell since the Dec. announcement about her book deal with St. Martin's Press.
O'Donnell's 2010 campaign spending is under investigation by the Federal Election Commission to determine whether she used campaign funds for personal expenses, including rent on her home. O'Donnell's lawyer says they're reviewing the records and refile by the end of this month, if necessary.
