Lumberton Police are investigating two reports of a prowler in the neighborhood this month.
Early Monday morning, a woman called police after seeing the silhouette of a man, holding a flashlight in the doorway of her bedroom.
Her husband spoke to NBC10's Cydney Long about what happened.
"He never said a word. She said 'Ray, what are you doing?' She thought it was me. He stepped back, then he came back in and looked at her again with a flashlight, closed the door and went back down the steps," said Ray Phelps, victim.

Police say nothing was taken from the home.
Last week, someone alerted police after a man knocked on the window of their home and walked away.
The two incidents happened in the area of Eayrestown and Landing Streets. Police aren't sure if the same man is responsible for both.
