Police say a Wilmington man is facing drunken-driving charges for the seventh time after a crash that injured him and two others.
New Castle County police say 46-year-old Richard Chamberlin's car rear-ended a car driven by an 18-year-old woman on Friday night. That car was pushed into oncoming traffic, where another car hit it head-on. Police say Chamberlin's vehicle kept moving after the crash and stopped after hitting a light pole.
Police say the driver and a passenger from the third car in the crash were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as was Chamberlin. Police say Chamberlin was still hospitalized on Sunday morning.
He's been charged with driving under the influence, second-degree vehicular assault, reckless driving and other offenses.
