‘Spider-Man' Robs Del. 7-11: Police

His accomplice was wearing all black with a black mask.

Delaware police for a superhero. But wait, aren’t superheroes supposed to fight crime?

Not this time.

According to Wilmington police, a gun-toting man wearing a Spider-Man mask and a second masked man robbed the 7-11 on the 2500 block of Kirkwood Highway around 12:45 Thursday morning.

Police say that “Spider-Man” pulled a gun on the 20-year-old male store clerk and demanded money as the second suspect stood close by.

The clerk handed over money from the register and the men fled the store on foot.

It is not known how much money the robbers made off with.

The clerk was not injured in the incident.

Police are describing “Spider-Man” as a white male, 5’08” tall, 150 pounds. He was wearing all black, including gloves and a Spider-Man mask.

The second suspect is also a white male, around 6’01” wearing all black and a black mask, according to authorities.
