A fisherman died after falling into the Wissahickon Creek Tuesday night.
Police say the 63-year-old man was fishing in the Wissahickon Creek near the Schuylkill River on the 4900 block of Ridge Avenue when his line got caught and he fell into the water.
Rescue crews were called to the scene and later found the man's body near the mouth of the Schuylkill River. He was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m.
The victim has not yet been identified.
