Sure, the lingerie and sex stores are still there, and it's seen its share of crime and vandalism over the years. But a new plan is in place to deter crime and catch criminals in the act.

The South Street Headhouse District is encouraging local businesses to install security cameras and it's even pointing them to an offer from the city's Commerce Department where they can get a 50 percent reimbursement(up to $3,000) on equipment and installation costs.
