Authorities say one woman died and five people were injured in a crash that caused two vehicles to roll down an embankment.
State police say the crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. Sunday on southbound Delaware Route 1 near Red Lion Road in Bear. Police have not released details about what led to the crash.
New Castle County paramedics say a 20-year-old female passenger in one of the vehicles died at the scene. Two 20-year-old men in the same car, including the driver, had serious injuries but were in stable condition.
Three others had minor injuries, including a woman and a 9-month-old baby girl in the other car.
