A western Pennsylvania hunter has pleaded guilty to a state game violation in the accidental, fatal shooting of a friend.
The Tribune-Democrat reports 30-year-old Matthew Nadolsky, of Windber, pleaded guilty Thursday in Cambria County to a misdemeanor count of shooting at another human.
Pennsylvania Game Commission officials determined the shooting last Dec. 7 was an accident, but still warranted a citation because of how it happened.

The hunting party of a dozen men was driving deer out of the woods, but instead of staying in a straight line, moved into a semicircle. When Nadolsky shot at a deer he instead struck 42-year-old Timothy Bruce, of Asheville.
Nadolsky faces up to 18 months in jail, a $10,000 fine and loss of hunting privileges for up to 15 years when he's sentenced next month.
