New Castle County Police have charged a man in a robbery after the man was shot after the crime.
It happened about 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 at the Harbor House Apartments in Claymont. A youth approached a woman sitting in her car and asked to use her cellphone, officers said in a news release.
Police say a man approached, pointed a handgun at the woman and demanded her phone and wallet. Officers say the youth and the man fled.
Officers investigating a shooting and found a man with gunshot wounds to his arms and legs and a youth, and arrested both.
Eighteen-year-old Shayne Litteral was charged with robbery and weapons offenses, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. The 13-year-old was charged with attempted robbery.
