A 38-year-old man is in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself inside a Southwest Philadelphia restaurant.
Police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. at the Ruby Tuesday on the 8600 block of Bartrum Avenue.
The man stood up and reached into his pocket, causing his gun to fire into the left side of his groin, according to investigators.

The man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is in critical condition.
