Local gay rights activists puckered up for a purpose, staging a "Kiss-in" at a Chick-fil-A in South Philadelphia.
About 50 people gathered at the fast food restaurant on Columbus Boulevard on Friday to protest the chain owner's opposition to same-sex unions.
The kiss-in was organized by Philly Dyke March.
Other kiss-ins were held across the country on Friday.
Earlier this week, supporters of Chick-fil-A staged a nationwide eat-in to support president Dan Cathy's remarks, backing the "biblical definition of a family."
