Thief Swipes Golf Cart, Steals Golfer's Truck at Delaware Course: Police

Delaware State Police say a man suspected of stealing a truck from a golf course in Millsboro last month has been arrested.

Authorities say 26-year-old Nathan Lewandowski was arrested Thursday by state police after being extradited from Camden County, New Jersey.

Lewandowski is accused of stealing a golf cart from a golfer at Baywood Greens on June 27. Police say the suspect drove off in the victim's golf cart, removed a set of keys from the cart's storage compartment and used them to steal the victim's truck from the parking lot.

The truck was later located in Camden, New Jersey.

Lewandowski faces multiple charges including possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing and second-degree burglary.

It isn't immediately clear if he has an attorney.
