A 13-year-old Pennsylvania girl who was struck by a vehicle days ago has died.
Ashlee Smahaj, of Tobyhanna Township in Monroe County, was pronounced dead Saturday at 12:45 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Smahaj was walking at the intersection of Allegheny Drive and Candlewood Lane in Tunkhannock Township on Dec. 15 around 3:30 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle.
An autopsy will be performed on the girl Monday to determine an exact cause of death.
