A 77-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted over the weekend inside her Lehigh County home.
The victim had just returned from an early morning walk with her dog Sunday -- when she noticed that some of her belongings inside her North Whitehall Township home had been moved, according to state police.
She sensed something was wrong and tried to leave but a masked-man hiding in another room tackled her and sexually assaulted her, said police.
Despite her age, the victim, put up quite a fight. After several minutes her attacker let her go and took off, said state police.
Investigators said the attack was not random and that it appears the man may have staked out his victim for some time.
A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-426-TIPS.
