What to Expect: Wet Weather This Week

After a beautiful and sunny weekend changes are on the way. Rain and cooler temperatures are coming.

Don't let Monday morning fool you. The sun will be shining when you wake up, but as the day goes on, it will turn cloudy, according to NBC10 First Alert Weather meteorologist Brittney Shipp.

"This is going to affect a few days out of your work week. It's not going to be just one day of rainfall -- at least two to three," said Shipp.

You can expect a slight chance of showers to start after rush hour on Monday. That rainy weather could last through Thursday.

Temperatures will drop to the mid-50s by Tuesday and thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected Wednesday.

A massive storm is moving through 15 states from the Midwest to the east coast on Sunday. The storms brought fatalities. Two people were killed in Oklahoma due to the tornadoes. Heavy rains have caused property damage, flooding and power outages. The storm will bring the wet weather to the Philadelphia region.

But, we will dry out by the end of the week.
