Water service was restored around 4:00 p.m. Sunday after an early morning water main break in Manayunk.
The 6-inch main broke around 5:20 a.m. at Carson Street and Manayunk Avenue.
Officials tell NBC 10 the break was actually on Carson Street but water flowed down the street, pooling on Main Street. Water also seeped into the post office’s garage.
There were no serious reports of water damage but there are at least six homes and one business without water.
No word yet on what caused the break.
