The bomb squad is at Lawnside Police Station after being called in for a suspicious package.
Police say that a letter stating that there was a bomb on the premises. Officers then found a suspicious package -- a zip lock bag taped to pipes with a timer on it -- addressed to the mayor in an elevator inside the police department.
The building was evacuated immediately.
It is still evacuated as the bomb squad completes their investigation.
