State police say an 84-year-old Newark man was killed after he drove his car into the path of another vehicle while exiting a parking lot.
The crash occurred on Thursday morning at the Peoples Plaza Shopping Center.
Police say 84-year-old Howard Bock was pulling out of the parking lot when his car was struck by a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Newark woman. Bock was taken to a hospital, where he died.
The other driver was treated at a hospital and released.
The crash is under investigation.
