State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a driver injured in a car accident in Delaware.

It happened last night around 11:40 p.m. on St. Rt. 1, south of I-95. Investigators say a white 2002 GMC Yukon was traveling south on St. Rt. 1 when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle, skidded towards the edge of the road and overturned several times.

The driver, who was the only person inside the car, was not properly restrained and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Christiana Hospital where he is in serious condition.

Police have not identified the victim. They say he is a Hispanic male who appears to be in his early 20’s. They also say he has the name “Angeline” tattooed on his left arm, “Ellie” tattooed on his chest and a teardrop tattoo under his right eye. Finally, they say his vehicle had a Maryland license plate.

If you have any information on the man’s identity, please call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 302-834-2620.
