One person is dead after being struck by a SEPTA train Thursday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. on 22nd and Market Street. Investigators say the victim was hit by a Market-Frankford train. Service on SEPTA’s Market-Frankford line at 40th Street eastbound and 15th street westbound was terminated. Service on trolley routes 10, 11, 13, 34 and 36 was also terminated underground. Both of those services have since resumed.
No word yet on the identity of the victim. Police continue to investigate.
