New Jersey Woman to Serve 6 Years for Sex Trafficking Girl

A New Jersey woman has been sentenced to six years in prison for the sex trafficking of a minor.

Federal prosecutors say 24-year-old Aja Easley, of Camden, convinced the girl to meet men for sex acts. She had met the victim in March 2015 and told her about a "dating website" to make money by going on "dates."

Authorities say Easley and two men agreed to advertise the victim online for sex acts. They then convinced her to work as a prostitute at motels in Mount Laurel and Cherry Hill in March 2015.

The three then arranged for the teen to meet a client in Atlantic City. But as they drove there they allowed her to stop at a Gloucester City home, where she contacted police.
