Men Charged With Dumping Body in NJ Forest

An ice skater found the body of a young man in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest in Woodland Township, New Jersey over the weekend. Now, state police have charged four Pemberton Township men with desecrating human remains for allegedly dumping the body of Charles Bauer, 23.

Bauer was from the Browns Mills area, and so are the suspects, according to a report in PhillyBurbs.com.

The medical examiner in Burlington County is investigating how Bauer died. Bauer's obituary says only that he died suddenly and loved playing his guitar, skateboarding, playing chess and that he had a gift for making people laugh.

The four men accused of dumping and leaving his body have all been arrested. Patrick Bush, 47; Andrew Baith, 19; and Ryan Sweet, also 19, were jailed in Burlington County on $100,000 bail. The fourth suspect, 25-year-old Brandon Dixon was found in Philadelphia and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
