Funeral Set for Boy Who Served as Parent's Best Man

Funeral arrangements have been set for 2-year-old western Pennsylvania boy who served as best man at his parents' wedding two days before he died of a terminal illness.

The Mason-Gelder Funeral Home in Jeannette is handling arrangements for Logan Stevenson, who will be viewed at the funeral home Thursday and Friday. His funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m., also in the funeral home, about 25 miles east of Pittsburgh.

The boy's parents, Christine and Sean Stevenson, had planned to marry next year but moved up the ceremony to Saturday so their son could participate. They learned last month that their son, who battled leukemia and other complications including a mass on his remaining kidney, had weeks to live.

Logan died at home Monday night in his mother's arms.

"I'm so sad upset and I'm in disbelief he is with angels and he's in no more pain, no more sickness, no more hospitals. We love all of (you) for all your prayers. Thank (you) all for caring god bless (you) all! And most of all god bless Logan, I'll c u in my dreams my son," Christine wrote on her Facebook page.
