Police have arrested two cousins in Valentine's Day beating and robbery of a Philadelphia cab driver.

Nahfeeh Williams, 18, and Dawand Williams, 25, Wednesday around 4 a.m., nearly a week after the attack that left the driver severely injured.

Last Thursday, around 11:16 p.m., police say the 53-year-old cab driver was parked at the 69th Street Terminal waiting for fares when he was approached by two men who asked to be taken to Island and Lindbergh Boulevard.

When the cab driver arrived on Lindbergh, police say the suspects told him to pull over two blocks away from Island. Once the driver pulled over, one suspect allegedly took a belt and wrapped it around his neck, choking him. The second suspect then allegedly went through his pockets and stole a wallet with $100, credit cards, debit cards and ID inside while threatening to shoot and kill him.

Police say the cab driver then drove to his base on the 6700 block of Upland Street and called police.
