Three people in a sport utility vehicle were injured when the auto and a jitney bus collided in Atlantic City over the weekend, sending the jitney into a store at a shopping center.

No passengers were in the jitney when the accident occurred around 2 p.m. Saturday. Atlantic City police say no citations have been issued so far, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Press of Atlantic City reports the jitney ended up in a store at The Walk complex. Store officials told the newspaper that 10 customers were in the store at the time, but all were able to safely escape the building.
Details on the injuries suffered by the people in the SUV were not disclosed. The jitney's bus driver was not injured.
