Update: A Trenton man was charged in the death.
An investigation is underway after police found the body of a man who was bound and shot multiple times on the bank of a New Jersey creek over the weekend.
Hamilton police officers were called to the corner of Sixth Avenue and Assunpink Boulevard in Hamilton Township around 2 p.m. Saturday for the report of an unconscious male near the canal. When they arrived they found the body of 20-year-old Danny Diaz-Delgado of Trenton, New Jersey.
Investigators say Diaz-Delgado was face down with his hands tied behind his back and tape around his face. He was also shot multiple times in the torso, head and leg.
