A woman found dead in her burning North Philadelphia home has become the 12th person to die in a fire in the city so far this year.
The medical examiner's office has yet to release the name of the woman, who was reportedly found dead in an upstairs rear bedroom.
Emergency crews were called to the home on the 5900 block of North Norwood Street in the Logan section of the city about 8 p.m. Saturday.

Crews say the fire began in the kitchen and spread upstairs before it was extinguished in about 15 minutes.
Investigators say the home didn't have working smoke detectors.
The exact cause of the fire is being further investigated.
