Drug-trial firm’s earnings down 5%

Bio-Imaging Technologies Inc. reported today that income from continuing operations had decreased 31 percent, to $786,000 (5 cents a share), in the first quarter, from $1.1 million (9 cents a share) in the previous year's quarter.
